Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. As a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed therapist, my goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported on your journey toward healing and emotional well-being. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, navigating trauma, or facing relationship challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change.

As someone who deeply understands the dynamics of both individualistic cultures versus collectivistic mindsets, I am particularly attuned to the unique challenges that first-generation and second-generation immigrants often face. The balancing act between cultural expectations, family obligations, and personal well-being can feel like an unending struggle. I support clients in navigating this intricate landscape, particularly around issues like acculturation, intergenerational conflicts, and feeling torn between personal desires and family pressures. Together, we’ll explore how to honor your cultural heritage while also creating space for your own identity and mental health.

For those struggling with anxiety, stress, or overwhelming emotions, I offer evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches will help you reframe negative thoughts, develop coping strategies, and build emotional resilience. I have extensive experience working with young adults facing the pressures of academics, social challenges, and identity development, and I’m here to help you feel more confident in your authentic self while managing these pressures. Even if things seem impossible at times, I believe that healing and growth are always possible, and that everyone has the strength to overcome their challenges with the right support and resources. My goal is to help you feel empowered and equipped with tools to manage stress, build healthy relationships, and create lasting change. To do so, I take a solutions-focused approach to therapy, where we work together to identify practical strategies that fit your unique needs and life circumstances.

If you’ve experienced sexual assault, please know that I believe you, and I am here to support you without judgment. Healing from trauma is a deeply personal journey, and I will prioritize your safety, autonomy, and emotional well-being every step of the way. In our work together, we’ll take the time you need to rebuild trust and regain control over your relationship with sex, at your pace, in a space where you can feel empowered and respected.

I also work with couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and navigate challenges such as intimacy issues or infidelity. I believe that every relationship has the potential to thrive when both partners feel valued and understood. I offer flexible scheduling, including online sessions, to make therapy as accessible as possible. If you feel more comfortable speaking in Hindi/Urdu or Spanish, I welcome you to express yourself in the language that feels most natural to you. If you're ready to take the first step toward healing, I invite you to reach out for a complimentary 15-minute consultation, and together we can create a plan for moving forward in a way that feels right for you.
