Meetings are lead by Registered SMART Recovery Facilitator, Amanda Hildebrant, LCSW #63742.
Amanda is a licensed clinical social worker and has success working with adults & children to move through old wounds & create new patterns not rooted in the past. Stress, anxiety, depression, relationship with food, intimacy trouble, lack of motivation, body pain, headaches, & anger are invitations for us to look closer at the underlying events that impact our automatic responses. She utilizes a collaborative approach; we work together to identify goals of therapy & the right pace of attaining those goals.
As a therapist, Amanda's mission for her therapeutic practice is to create a space for clients to better understand the nature of their reactions to trauma whether it be a life threatening event or simply a series of difficult events, and to heal from those using techniques and modalities such as Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. Her style of work is a very collaborative approach where she works together with her clients to identify goals of therapy and the right pace of attaining those goals. She also utilize invitational language and choice for the client to ensure they feel a sense of safety and an empowered stance during their therapy sessions and overall goals. She enjoys working with people of diverse backgrounds and provide therapy in both English and Spanish languages.
