💟 IFS - Internal Family Systems
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic model that helps people understand and heal the different parts of themselves. Developed by Richard Schwartz, IFS views the mind as a system of distinct parts, each with its own role, and a core Self—a calm, compassionate leader within.
Rather than fighting against difficult emotions, IFS fosters self-awareness and integration, making it especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and emotional challenges. By working with our internal system, we can move from self-judgment to self-understanding, creating greater balance and authenticity in our lives.
